A fine Moche "Little Man" Portrait vessel from Peru, ca. 450 - 700 AD. This nicely sculpted example is 7" high and has the characteristic legs projecting from beneath the chin. This one is extensively adorned with facial tattoos and a striped headdress. In excellent condition, nice mineral deposits. Museum deaccession.

A fine avian celt pendant from Costa Rica, ca. 500 BC – 500 AD. This unusual example is 4” long, made fro semi-translucent jadeite and depicts an avian deity. It is perforated for suspension. The stone is calcified and covered with root marks and trails.

A rare Colima 3-note avian whistle from West Mexico, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. This choice example is 3-7/8” long and depicts a mythical creature with the triangular head of a serpent and the body of a bird in flight. In perfect condition, with nice appliquι eyes, good mineral deposits and root marks. Choice example with great tone!

A fine Colima figure from West Mexico, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. This lovely example is 4-1/2” tall and depicts a young female. She is posed standing, with hands clasped at the back of her head and has long hair flowing over her shoulders, as well as a traditional forelock. Delicate incising details her hair and indicates clothing. Good mineral deposits, mounted on stand.
